The final boss has wiped the floor with a level 5/6 party pretty consistently as well(both with and without the negative levels). But your mileage may vary, I tend to have careful players due to it being a horror themed atmosphere. The shortest run was 1 session for a very seasoned group(all with roughly 10 years of TTRPG experience, primarily in 3.5 and PF 1E). I've run Carrion hill roughly 15 times and it has consistently been multiple sessions.
